Theofransus Litaay is the lecturer of the faculty of law of Satya Wacana Christian University (SWCU) and a member of the Centre of Eastern Indonesia Studies of SWCU, Salatiga, Central Java, Indonesia. His interests are involving research activities related to the issues of law and public policy, especially on the areas of indigenous knowledge protection, biosecurity, and conflict resolution. He has conducted research activities in three provinces of Indonesia, namely Papua province, Papua Barat province and East Nusa Tenggara province. He also provided consultation for undergraduate student research regarding traditional knowledge and biosecurity in Moluccas province of Indonesia. In the past, Theo was involved in several judicial advocacy programs. He also took part in the community facilitator development program organized by the British Council in cooperation with the Centre for Eastern Indonesia Studies SWCU and Institute of Good Governance and Regional Development.
